About Our Name

Isla’s Garden Seeds

Isla (pronounced Eye-Luh) is the youngest in our family. We named our company after her because she is the anchor for the six of us, filling our home with a playful, vibrant, colorful joy, akin to a garden. If you’ve purchased seeds since the formation of our business in 2017, you may have received a rare packet with her photo on the front.

Start pepper seeds indoors in peat pots about 8 weeks before the last expected spring frost. Sow them 1/4″ deep and keep the soil at 80-85 degrees F until germination; provide sunlight or a grow light for 12-16 hours a day. Seeds are great for Planting in Garden or for storing in a seed safe for emergency.
